I think she is addicted ...

hey guys, as of late i have been feeding charm dubias and supers but i have noticed that charm has slowly stopped eating supers and attacks dubias like crazy, the main problem is that she has eaten all the dubias that were the right size for her so i have to wait for the nymphs to grow bigger before i can give her any more. i have been trying to feed her the supers but she will only eat one and then turn her nose up at the rest... any suggestions?

She's at least taken good taste for a low fat feeder, which is a great thing by the way. As for how to get her to eat super once she's addicted to dubia roaches, I'd suggest just to keep offering it. When she's hungry enough, she'll chow supers down.

I have picky eaters, some will only eat superworms, some will only eat dubia roaches. I even have a pair living in the same tank, where one will only eat dubia roaches and the other superworms. There's not much to do if they find one they prefer.

But like I said, at least she picked a healthy feeder to get addicted to, not waxworms and such. Now just buy some more to feed her addiction and you'll be ok

Like mardy said just keep offering the supers until the roaches are ready. I'm sure she's healthy enough for reduced rations if she's only eating 1. Last season when eros brumated he would only eat 1 super a week and didn't lose any notable amount of weight.
