Red spot on tongue
Hi All,
I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year. My lepoard Gecko yawned while I was watching him tonight and I noticed a small bright red spot on his tongue near the tip but not quite on the tip. I never saw his tongue before is this normal? He is a juvenile, about 7 weeks old. He is eating normally and pooping normally. Is there a way to hold him and open his mouth to get a better look without hurting him? Thanks for the help.

Re: Red spot on tongue
The best way to open a geckos mouth is caress the side of its mouth and it will slowly open. If the gecko is eating well and maintaining its weight then you should have nothing to worry about. Do send pics of you can though.
