blazing blizzard het raptor X enigma het raptor

so last night i spent about 3 hours reading about genetics in leopard geckos and RAPTOR is the only one i dont get. i used every morph calculator and did the charts i just cant figure it out..BUT if i bred my MALE BLAZING BLIZZARD HET RAPTOR with my FEMALE ENIGMA HET RAPTOR what would my outcomes be..and can someone please briefly explain who you came about the outcome

It really depends on what percentage you can come up with that each is het for. That will determine if they'll actually have RAPTORs.

In all actuallity, you would do better to actually get a raptor and breed it to one of your het for's and then you'll actually get the RAPTOR babies that you're wanting.

i dont want raptors..i was just learning about genetics and the HET for raptor was confusing me cause i know raptor is a actual acronym

Well, yeah, it basically means that your hets are all het for the full break down of the RAPTOR.

I don't really remember what that break down is, but I have a 100% het raptor that I plan on breeding to a RAPTOR in the future.

RAPTOR= Eclipse and Tremper Albino. (lets not start an argument about if it includes patternless :P haha)

MALE BLAZING BLIZZARD HET RAPTOR
This already contains Albino ('blazing' blizzard, means albino blizzard) so the 'het raptor' means that it is het for eclipse.


FEMALE ENIGMA HET RAPTOR
This will mean it is het for both Tremper Albino AND eclipse.

I have a snake eyed RAPTOR male. If i wanted to breed him next year, i should be looking for a tremper albino female, raptor, or something het for raptor, correct? or what would be recommended if i wanted to create nice morphs?

Don't feel like you're going to breed two morphs and make a new one. If you have a RAPTOR male and breed it to a RAPTOR or het RAPTOR, you'll get more RAPTORs.

If you wanted to spend the money, you could breed your RAPTOR male with a super snow female and shoot for RAPTORs and Snow RAPTORS (Or super RAPTOR's, depending on who you ask).

It's all actually about what you like, and want to produce.

If you breed your Enigma het Raptor to the Blazing Blizzard het Raptor the options you can get are...Nova (Raptor Enigma aka Eclipse Tremper Albino Enigma) het Blizzard or all in all het Diablo Blanco. Your breeding can really get you confused because with your pair you can make a lot of things. You can also make from that pair. Trempers, Eclipses, Raptors, Enigma, Enigma Tremper, Enigma Eclipse. So as you can see it can pile up a lot. Understanding the hets can be difficult so your best bet is to continue doing what you have been doing, which is asking questions.
