Ok so my 1 year old leopard gecko started shedding a few days ago and has been finished for about 2 days now. Now i know i've read that they might not eat when they are shedding. but hhe's been done for 2 days now and has no intrest in his superworms. Any ideas? am I just panicking over nothing?

Eating a whole shed is a huge meal. My boy usually doesn't eat for 2-3 days after eating a shed. Making sure temps are warm enough for proper digestion also is very helpful. If you full out the care questionnaire kathryn posted we can make sure all your husbandry is up to par.

Some of my geckos wouldn't eat after a shed until they poop. Chances are you don't have to worry about it.

Aside of needing to add a multi vit your husbandry looks pretty good. Your leo could also be starting to brumate so I wouldn't panic too much. Just keep offering food on a regular schedule, your leo will eat what they need.

I've never had problem with my leopard geckos not eating. They even eat after they shed and during shed, but I try not give them food during sheds. I'd double check the temps if I were you. Try using two thermometer to get a more accurate reading.

I use reptivite. There is a review about it in the review section. Its an all in one calcium, vitamin d3 and multivitamin. I believe there is also a repashy brand that a lot of members on here use.

Zoo Med's Reptivite, Repcal's Herptivite, and Repashy Calcium Plus are three of the most common and popular multi-vitamin supplements for leopard geckos. Either one of these 3 will do fine. Since you have an adult, you should dust around twice a week. Use the shake & bake method, put some supplement in a sandwich bag, toss the feeders in there, shake them up. Them feed them to your geckos. You don't leave multivitamin supplements in the tank.

Since you are probably not supplementing D3, you will want to get the ones with D3 if you pick Reptivite or Herptivite. Repashy Calcium Plus already contains D3. D3 is essential for calcium absorption.

I use the Repashy Calcium Plus. I love it though! I'm not trying to butter Allen up, but I do love it and have good results from it.
