A problem with Tripods little stump. Advice please
Hi all,
last week I changed Tripods carpet for slate as a substrate and today I have noticed that the edge of the stump is looking a bit grazed, is the slate too rough and should I put the carpet tiles back in. I have some F10 ointment but I think the chances of putting any on without stressing her out is practically impossible as s/he is still very skittish.
The little graze.
S/he does walk on that side of the stump.
Any advice please.
Many thanks.

Bless her !!! xx If you are worried that the slate is too rough then change onto paper towl or kitchen roll! Carpet wouldnt be great as it holds bacteria and it can never really be cleaned properly! just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse then you may need to see the vet x

Or you can put a little rubber thimble on her stub as a boot... Just kidding of course. Imagine how silly it would look, too! Glad to hear she's doing better on the paper towel than the slate!

Aaaaaw I love her little stump! I had a Chihuahua with a front leg that was a stump. It kind of looked like a chicken wing, it was adorable. Lol
