Re: Baby Leo, very skinny
She is still regurging, the slurry, half meal worms, even blended meal worms. today she regurged 4 hours after eating, the food was more of a grey/white before she ate it, came up brown, so i guess she got some nutrients out of it? I am really worried about her, yes she was a rescue but i only got her to try and save her life.

Sorry your leo is suffering...I can't really add anything except for the heating bit - you need a heat mat. Heat bulbs can irritate a leo's eyes and stress them out...and they need belly heat for digestion. Leo's don't really bask so the light is useless, really.
Wishing you the best of luck!

Re: Baby Leo, very skinny
poor thing, the first thing you need to do is get a under tank heater, the lights stresses them out and dont give them the warmth from the ground they need to be able to digest their food, so get rid of the light and get a uth, then also get a digital probe thermometer, those are around $10 at pet stores, the round ones you stick on the wall of the tank really suck and dont measure the temp of the floor like you need, once you get a digital prob one you place the probe on top of the bottom of her tank where the heat mat is. also i would change the substrate to paper towels just because she is sick right now and paper towels are very easy to clean up. try and get her hot side up to 98 while she is sick and then to about 93 95 ish. make sure you have a hot side and cool side, you might want to update her to a 10 gal soon but no rush as long as she has the cool and hot side. you might want to take her into the vet if the heat mat doesn't help, she might be compacted or have something else. im sorry about your leo i hope it gets better! (and sorry i called it a she its just easier for me XD )
Re: Baby Leo, very skinny
I found out it is a she. I used a led flashlight to see if she had any internal bleeding... none, but she has ovaries... and I found out it wasn't regurge, its pure liguid poo. She kept the food down last night and stayed on her basking rock all night. And yesterday she was switched to a 10gallon.

I only adopted her to try and save her. I did the best I could. Just sad that I couldn't do more.
