Large Mealworm Pupae
Sooo anyone near Northern Colorado need or want any large Mealworm Pupae? Turns out i have a LOAD of them wanting to turn into beetles and i already have i think close to 100 if not more beetles that came from my colony. If not no biggie ill either feed some of them off to the Critters or ill just let them turn into beetles and add them to my collection
Re: Large Mealworm Pupae
do Leopard geckos eat these? I have some on mine to but didnt thing I could feed them to my Leo.

Yea you could actually feed them off. They in fact are a bit better then the actual meal worm them selves cause they dont have near as much Chitin "outer shell". There was a discussion about this elsewhere on the forum. I dont remember where exactly tho

They love the little alien looking things (the pupa things). Very good for them

Re: Large Mealworm Pupae
well tonight no one got aliens most of the ones i had are beetles now so im at like 300ish beetles prolly more but idk. I still have to go thru the colony drawers again and sort the new aliens out LOL. Tonight the 7 adults got super worms and the babies got there normal meal worms. My dubia colony is growing and i think im going to order a bunch more to start feeding them Dubias every other feeding or maybe every third feeding so we will see

it didnt grab the part that i wanted. " meal worms I got had alot of the alien looking things" is what i was referring to
Re: Large Mealworm Pupae
I keep enough out for a few feedings and the rest stay in the fridge. I try to make sure I have a rotation every 3 days or so.
