Won't be on much for a few days

I apologize guys, but I won't be on much the next few days. I'm at the hospital admitted. I'll be here at least til Monday, but probably longer.

My lupus (auto-immune disease) seems to be active again, so I'm trying to get it sorted as soon as possible. They have doing tests (MRIs, X-Rays, etc) and should have an idea what we are looking at soon. Monday my real doctor (I'm using the doctor on call right now) is back, and will have an idea on treatment. Treatment will probably be to raise my steroidal immune suppresor medicine. They thought I had an infection as well, but that has been pretty much ruled out.

I'm in the kids lounge which has better computers, but its only opened for two hours a day on the weekend. I can reply to you by e-mail though.

I will hopefully be home tomorrow or soon after that. My real doctor is back tomorrow and we are gonna have a long discussion about treatment options, as I need something strong, but strong meds have a lot of side effects. Hopefully just using the steroids I've been on at a higher dose will be enough.

I should be back on here sometime tomorrow. The lounge where I can use LGF is open more during the week. Talk to you all soon!

Looks like I'm gonna be here longer than I though. They don't want to raise the prednisone, so I have to choose from pretty much two chemotherapy drugs. Its crazy cause I don't even have cancer, they just use the same drugs for both diseases. :/ I've been on one before, so I could choose that one, but I really hate it, and I became allergic to it near the end the last time I took it. The other one has a lot of side effects I'm scared of.

Tough choices, that I'll have to make today once I've had a spinal tap to check for fluid pressure in my spine and brain.
