Another newbie from the UK
Hi everyone, I joined the forum last night and would just like to introduce myself and my gang to you. My name is Jane and I'm from a village in Leicestershire in the UK, I've had pets all my life both in the UK and when I lived in Kenya. At the moment I'm the proud mum of Tripod the Leopard Gecko, Tuppence the Horsefield Tortoise, Rhubarb and Custard the Corn Snakes, Oscar the black Lab and Saffron, Merlin and Mischief the cats. I have one grown up son called Arron who has now flown the nest so his room has now become my reptile room. I've only had reptiles since January when I rescued the 2 corns snakes, my son did buy a Tokay Gecko many years ago from a very well known pet shop chain in the UK as he wanted a reptile and we were sold it as an ideal lizard to start off with, over a year later and many bites later we had to accept defeat and very sadly rehomed him to a more experienced reptile keeper. Well that's me and mine for now and hope to speak to you all very soon.

Welcome to the forum, we're glad to have you!
The only thing about Tokay's I know, is they are seldom able to be handled. So, it's nothing you did wrong!

Hi all and thank you for the lovely warm welcome, I will gladly put photos of the rest of the gang if someone can tell me where to put them.
Kathryn I can't recommend a corn snake or two highly enough as they are absolutely adorable and that's coming from someone who was terrified of snakes before I rescued my 2 nine months ago.

Haha, Jane, I would get one in a second if it was up to me. :P I've got to convince my parents to let me get one though. My dad said I could get one if I could use a tank I already have (I have tons, and would be able to), but my mom says no completely. I'm working on her. She said no to my leos, but now I have 3 and 1 is practically my moms :P.
I'm working on her though. :P
I saw all your pictures, your pets are all so beautiful!
