Hi! New here. :) Wanted to introduce my lil girl

Thank you soooo much! I completely agree with you Rick, amen! You are the first to say that. So many people just breed and sell, roughly handling or never handling the leo's so they are scared of people and feisty when you get them. Sure, the leo's are beautiful! But they are CRAZY expensive sometimes and their temperment isn't very good. It's fantastic that you handle them all and you keep your number of adults low (for a breeder). Good for you! I wasn't saying that my leo was better or worse for the price. I was just shocked that one of my best animal friends hardly cost me anything to save and now I love her. <3

Kathstew - I want to see more pics of Miracle! She sounds like the sweetest leo. You are right pricewise, leo's here are around $35 and there aren't any specialty reptile shops around here. I'd reeeeeally love to visit a reptile expo, seeing as I think I could make room for one more leo.

I am planning to do a little photoshoot with all my leos, so once I have, I will post them in the show off picture section. Haha she really is. She was treated so badly before I got her, her tank hadn't been cleaned in a year, and hadn't been fed for at least a week. Despite that, she is the sweetest leo. She sits in your hands and will fall asleep if you let her. She is so brave too, she loves my dogs. Comes out and stares at them a lot.

You definitely should go to an expo! That is where I got my golden gecko (my avatar). It was so much fun! Even if you don't buy anything, its just so great to see all the different reptiles they sell there!

Awwww! Well I can't wait for the photoshoot. I want to go really bad because I want a nice bright pink and yellow Bell Albino and a super spotty Super Snow. <3 Super badddddddd. They're my favorite morphs.

You'll be hooked just like me! Its so much fun there! Eekkkk! Bell albinos and super snows are very pretty! I would like an APTOR or a hybino! Hybinos are gorgeous! They are probably my favs (so far) :P

HAHA, yes the next one is in Ajax in October. It won't be near as large as the last one you went to because for many people they do the big breeder show(the one we met at) and then stop for the year....BUT that means mess people, more desperate to sell means better prices.....lol. Next season I should have some Bell Enigmas for sale They are quite similar to the bell hybinos but have a white tail with black dots and may display the enigma syndromes./ My two tend to star gaze until they fall over at times and I have to hand feed them, but they are so so sweet to handle

Kathstew - aaaah, Hybinos are absolutely gorgeoussssss. Neons are amazing too!!! But I think a SS or BA would be maybe possible for me to get somewhere and not too expensive. <3 I want another one so badly. And yes, Pepper sheds super well. She spent all night in her moist hide though, so that's probably why.

I desperately want to go to an expo. Lol. I want to see all those tubs of gorgeous leo's wanting a nice home.

Mine was in her moist hide most of the time, but the other half I had to fresh water in her bowl and I decided to take some pics. It was really cool.

Haha! Oh dear, don't eat it yourself. I read that they eat it because shedding uses up alottttt of energy so when they eat it they get back some of that energy and it reeeeally fills up their tummy.

Oh I just love watching them shed. I have over 40 leopards and just adore still watching them shed .

They eat their own shed because it is FULL of nutrients for them and also because it hides their presence from prey that might be looking for a little snack.

No, she ate the whole thing. She just started working on another part of the skin on her body for a bit. Thank you all very much!
