Hi! New here. :) Wanted to introduce my lil girl

Hello everyone! I was reccomended this site by a member on another forum I joined. I just signed up and wanted to introduce my one and only. Her name up until recently has been Pepper, but I'm second guessing it now. It just doesn't fit her. But I believe she is a SHTCTB. She is great with handling, I hold her almost every morning. Sometimes at night if I can't make the morning one. She lives in a 10 gallon tank with a UTH, paper towel substrate, 2 hides, (1 moist, 1 warm) and she has a calcium dish and water dish. She also has a few climbing rocks and plants. She eats mealworms and sometimes crickets, if my brother's bearded dragon left any for me. <3 I got her mid may of this year, and she was a TINY lil thing. I think just 2 weeks old. Now she is 4.5 months old and I looooove her.

For now I can only post her baby pics, my newest pics are too big and won't post. ;/ But please enjoy!

You know I love Pepper She's just gorgeous! I love the first picture!
What I do, is upload my pics to photobucket and then copy the direct link. I press the pic thingy on the tools for posting thing (located above when you post), and just copy the link into there. The forum automatically resizes the pictures for me as well, which makes it MUCH easier.

Pepper is HUGE now, nice and fat. The only problem is she accidentally bit the tip of her tail and it died and never really grew back, so it's kinda stubby. :/ But I still love her! <3

that is my red striped enigma. he is from the urban gecko. he is amazing for sure, thank you for your comment, i have quite a few from the urban gecko, and they are all quite breathtaking...i think you can see my first ten i got from him in my profile, i need to update it, i have not been on here in quite a while. i have seen quite a few red striped enigmas, even from craig, and none of them compare to him. i named him "Hat trick". a hat trick is a term in hockey when a single player scores three goals in one game, and it is not often done, i just figured it appropriet that out of all the red stripe enigmas, you rarely get one like him. thanks again, yours is beautiful too!

She was only $15?! I've never seen a leo at a store that cheap before! WOW! She's so gorgeous, I'm really surprised she was so cheap!

in my opinion, the money really means nothing. dont take this wrong. i have a diablo blanco that is one of my favorite animals i own. i have leopard geckos worth six times more than her, but if for some silly reason, i had to sell all of my leopards, i think i would keep my diablo blanco as a pet. pure white with ruby red eyes... she already has an awesome display cage in the prosess of being built....some of the best animals in the world, are free!! ...or close to it. in my opinion, the money means nothing...the animals, are a different story!

I agree rick completely. I'm just saying thats one of the cheapest prices for a leo I've ever seen. I also find shops sell the "prettier" leos for more.
My first leo, Miracle, was free and she is the sweetest leo I've ever seen. So gentle and cuddly. I definitely think the free pets are the best, especially the ones that have a rough past. THey don't deserve their past, but they always seem to be the nicest, sweetest animals of them all.
The average price for leos around here are $40.00 + (and $40.00 for normals). Thats just why I was pretty surprised she was so cheap :P

no doubt that was a killer deal! i agree. i dont go to pet shops, so i dont know the prices, but i will sell my normals, and albinos, and not so crazy stuff for really good prices, probably starting in the $20 range. i just want to offer the best bloodlines and the highest quality animals to anyone who buys them from me. i am not in it for the money. i will be selling some really high end stuff, but i just want to produce awesome animals, and offer the best customer service...that is what is important to me! i love the animals i work with, that is what this is really all about...for me. i have alot of animals from the urban gecko, and i am producing some of the nicest and highest quality stuff out there, but i am not going to charge the rediculous prices(and some of the animals are without a doubt worth it). i also try to stay small, so i can handle ALL of my animals, so when someone buys from me, the animals are already accustomed to handling...so they get a mellow, friendly, super healthy, high quality animal for a great price. i dont want any more than 75 adults, that way i know have the time to take the best care of them all. i dont have anywhere near that at this moment, i only have 14 adults, but that is my limit that i have set for myself.

I don't buy many animals from pet shops, I learned that lesson a long time ago. Unless its a mom and pop shop, or a reptile speciality shop. I only buy supplies there, but I always like looking at the leos they have.
I wish a lot of places were as devoted as you would. I'd love to buy a leo from you one day, when I have the space, I've hit my maximum for now XD

If I buy from a breeder, I can get leos for as low as $20 for a normal, but anything other than normal its gonna go up usually past $40. Luckily I found the lovely Jolene (smararas on here) who lives near me, who I can get leos from now!
