Updates on the boy(s)

Still unsure of Misfit's gender. Handling him hasn't worked out yet. He loves his superworms. I hate them. One squirted on me. And one got out of his food dish and buried under his cave, so I can't get to it. D: But Misfit is HUGE now! YAY!
Rixxter (the crestie) is a lovely fellow. I love listening to him move around at night. And although I've only had him for a month, he's allowed me to handle him several times this week and had been so sweet. And he's eating now too! I'm so happy! I still need to get pictures of him. I really want to know his morph. I was told that he looks like a Harlequin. Sooooo gorgeous.
Sorry for the horrible quality, but here's Misfit, now 7 months old, on a leaf.

ewwwww.. a morioworm squirted at me, too! and it went in my eye I don't like things going near my eyes.. so I had a mini freak out.. and i was running like 'it's poison, my eye is gunna die!' XD silly me!

why do they always squirt into eyes? do they squirt on purpose or do we squish them in some way and they pop?

I think I squished mine, because it got me on the side of my thumb. I use tweezers to transfer them from their critter carrier to Misfit's bowl. I washed my hands for a good 5 minutes after that. Sooooooooooooo nasty!
And I just held Rixx for five minutes! Woo! Super progress! Are cresteds supposed to be kind of squeaky?

I hate the juice from Waxworms its all waxy and oily 
I had to pinch the head of mine at one stage to get a non eating very skinny one to eat - and got it all over my hands x
