Break Through with Iggy-Pop :)

Finally after having had Iggy-Pop for over a month and having moved him into our spare room with the bearded dragons (not in the same viv altho he does seem to like my girls Tiny & Gizmo) he has finally stopped tail whipping & running away when we go in the viv to clean him out or feed him and we now nolonger need gloves to get him out or handle him as he comes to us & climbs up your arm to come out or sits on your hand to come out bless him

YAAAAHHHHOOOOOO!!!!! I knew if anyone could do it, it would be you guys.

thanks Jolene we worked out that his problem was people walking past his viv in our room so in the other room he's facing the door so he can watch everyone walk in out without getting scared everytime and now he hardly ever scratches the glass unless he wants feeding

That is great. It is such a satisfying feeling when you care help them, especially with their fears!

i couldnt agree more jolene but there is one down side to his new found confidence ~ i cant keep the little pain in his viv when i clean him out as he thinks mums arm means climb out

HAHAHAHA

Glad to see his temperament has shifted for the better; even if he is a pain now, haha!

So am i as getting whipped evrytime i went near him/viv was getting painful

Awww thats awesome we had a really friendly iggy at the shop which loved getting out the viv and sitting on your head but the other iggy always used to tail whip me

He's being a silly boy at mo, everytime i go into the bedroom he's got his nose pressed against the glass stairing at the floor or the bearded dragons
