Recent Changes Feedback

Ok I haven't read everyones replies but this is my feelings on the recent changes... the personal profile box needs to get offa the main page... everyone has a user cp button and doesnt need to be looking at their avatar and post count all day... the quick user cp button is ok but redundant, the mod box should go back to the top of the page as I cant look at new messages and the mod box at the same time without scrolling down which is annoying, absolutely need the GMT clock back since there's so many different countries on the boards... its nice to know YOUR time for things like the quiz. Also I liked seeing the PTOM winner on the home page, I think it is something we did that made the users feel special and motivated them to participate since there was no other reward for winning POTM aside of getting their photo features on the home page. I also like the original members news feed box a lot better than whats there now... that thing looks like an instant messenger box to chat to your friends list.

What Kel is trying to say is she hates it all...LOL....joking....hahaha, I do think that the GNT time clock should be on here.......I think I mentioned this already

I personally enjoy the succinct layout, it gets to the point and is over all easier to navigate in my opinion, and that seemed to be the biggest complaint with the newest of members.

What are the "negative votes recieved" line in the profiles? Also, the negative votes given?

I personally really like this website. Very easy for me. (I am not very good on the computer)

I think that might have been made before when Jordan was going to allow people to dislike comments as well as like them.

That's what I thought, I just figured I'd bring it up in case that's what it was and it needed to be removed.

If at all possible, could short cuts to the quick reply box be added to where I can once again press CTRL i, CTRL b, CTRL u for italics, bold, and underline.

I didn't even know people noticed that! lol.

I'm having a lot of difficult right now. lol<br /><br />when I try to edit a post it comes back with all the coding in my paragraphs, but then when I click send it doesn't go away, and still shows the coding when its been posted. <br /><br />

I don't like this new message box.. it's not working properly.. well it's being weird
When i want to edit a post, I click edit and I miss how a seperate page would appear like when you click 'postreply'. now this box appears as the bottom.. but when it does on my computer.. half of the writing is cut off and i can't see what im writing.. and then the scroll bar at the side disappears and the leopard gecko forum logo and the option buttons at the top of the forum disappear :S I will screen shot next time it happens.

I know the problem Kathstew, and it will be fixed later today. Shouldn't be too hard.

Sarah, it sounds like your browser is very old lol.

nope its the new mozilla firefox yet the older version works fine on my own computer.. but when I'm on my brother's.. it messes up :S confused lol

Very strange, because the editor was pretty much made using the newest mozilla and its developement add ons. I'm sorry you have that going on for you, but i have left the old editor at the bottom of threads.

The bug kathryn mentioned has been fixed.

it's fixed now it was probably just something wrong with my brothers computer it's not happening now so who knows lol

The gecko profile has gone now unfortunately but it may return in the future.
It was an area in your profile to fill in and include a picture of your favourite pet, for everyone to see.

Hi Kathryn mine does the same thing I put my down to using a mac, I also have to refresh twice before I can see any photos.

The changes are great!

There's still a little cutting on the ID badge up top, it extends partially down past the header. Maybe a little formatting of the shape of the box would fix that, but that's the only thing negative I've noticed poking around.
