Humid hide
i recently got my gecko in september and i wasnt aware that it needed a humid hide when i bought him from the local pet store they gave a care sheet that didn't state that it needed one, and thats the same with the book that i bought from the store as well.
i read Kermits post in the sticky thread about the proper housing and ill be putting a humid hide into his tank right away. now with that being said am i putting anything inside the humid hide or am i just going to be misting it throughout the day to keep it moist. i was thinking of putting paper towel in the bottom of it (i am currently using just a plain paper substrate throughout the tank) or would that not be a good idea?

Re: Humid hide
Paper towels are great since it has no impaction risk. It's also clean, cheap, and easy to replace. Just wet it once every other day, make sure it's moist on the day your gecko is about to shed.
