Thanksgiving celebrates the pilgrims coming over on the Mayflower and settling in the US basically.

Im so excited for the food!

Very Happy its also a time to be with family and give thanks to those that made and still make some kind of difference in your life and just give thanks to anything that you are thankful for. I just Put my turkey in the oven and im getting ready to get the gibblets boiling so i can make my homemade turkey gravy and then i have to start my homemade stuffing Very Happy YUMMMMMM i cant wait lol

Exactly! haha I love your user name, asianpersuasion! Smile This is the first year in like 10 years that my family is doing a traditional dinner like turkey, stuffing etc. We have been doing "Thanksgiving in another country" haha, like last year we had "Thanksgiving in India" where my grumpa made indian food. We do the same on Xmas day.
