Re: Morph ID please
Hypo means lacking body spots, so I would say this one is not a hypo. As for the het RAPTOR there is no way to prove that without breeding it out. I would say this is a high yellow. Not an adult yet either as the bands are not yet broken up

Re: Morph ID please
The "other one" is an albino. No hets about it...lol. I cannot tell you which one because I would need an eye shot for that but I would guess that it is Tremper Albino. Now it is possible that it has hets but the appears to be albino.
Re: Morph ID please
I would say the 2nd one is just a tremper albino. It's pretty no doubt, but people don't really call it "super hypo tangerine tremper het albino". A SHTCT albino is called a Sunglow and that's not a Sunglow.
What do their eyes look like?

Re: Morph ID please
I'll ask her if she can send me some pictures of their eyes.
She said that Hypo means little spotting in the bands.

Re: Morph ID please
Definitely a tremper. Not a tangerine. Tang's are wayyy different.
I personally wouldn't buy from someone who couldn't correctly and straight forwardly tell me the genetic background of the animal. But, it's up to you! Just know that it's only 50 USD more to buy a leopard gecko online because of shipping.

Re: Morph ID please
Yeah I know, as soon as you told me their morphs were wrong I started asking all these questions and she seems to take good care of them. She breeds them apparently.
I don't know I'm starting to have second thoughts now, *sigh* Oh well.
I would be nervous about the shipping of the Leo, though. I would be heartbroken if something happened to it in transit.

Re: Morph ID please
If you are looking to get them as pure pets only, and not looking to breed them, then there's nothing wrong with getting them. You already said she takes good care of them, so that's a plus. Getting a gecko pet, all you really need is to know they are healthy, and that you are getting something you personally love.
If you are looking to breed however, I would recommend against getting them due to fuzzy genetic backgrounds and possibilities of them having multiple hets. Not everybody buy geckos to breed, so morph/genetics don't really matter much as long as the geckos are healthy. Just as there's nothing wrong for this particular breeder to perhaps breed as a hobby on a small scale, with the purpose of selling them as pets only.
Either way, they are cute geckos

Re: Morph ID please
With the standards of the industry, you'll never have a problem with shipping. As long as you pick someone who cares about what their doing, the animal will always arrive in perfect condition.
I recommend checking Fauna Classifieds, personally. They have a Board of Inquiry that you can get a whats what about whoever you're buying from.

Re: Morph ID please
I'm not looking to breed them. So I don't know I'll look around and think about it.
