Hello to you all i am Tom ,i have just recently bought a hyper super morph (i think ?) leo and a 4 foot vivarium for him.I am very new to owning a leo but i am very keen on learning from other people how best to do things .I have owned Larry for two weeks and i am really enjoying him.I live in kent in England, and look foward to becoming a good keeper with the help from the forum members.I will post pictures as soon as possible to see if any one can confirm what morph Larry is.Smile

HI Tom and welciome welcome to the forum... that sounds like a beautiful leo and a HUGE viv. Make sure you have a lot of hides in there for him as young geckos can get nervous in a huge wide open tank. If you like you can check out our proper housing sticky for some good ideas on a proper set up[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Can't wait to see some pix of your new fella/gal Very Happy

I would suggest a few more hides Tom given as he is so small yet and he is likely afraid to come out too far at the moment. It should be very full of decor in your viv for such a young leo to feel safe and secure. Also if you're uding any overhead lighting that could also stress him out and make him want to stay in that one place. Since your viv is 4 feet long that gives you a TON of room to add some more hides for him to scurry from one to the next sohe can explore.

Hey Tom, welcome to LGF!

I can honestly say that you and Luke are in good hands with the staff on this forum. They can assist with any question/s that you may have and will offer you excellent advice.

Good luck with your juvie leo. You will find that leos make great pets and are adorable little reptiles.
