My Uth has Been Cooking my leo its 114 degrees and i cant get a rheostat to december because i dont have money because i am young i need a way to hold the temperture to december any ideas

get i timer switch so the heat mat can be turned on and off while your not there, like 2hours on 1hour off they are cheap to buy and might temp solve your problem or manually turn the heat mat on and off through out the day

Place more "Substrate" on the floor where the UTH is...for example, another tile, more piles of paper towel. That is the way I did it before I could get a rheostat:)

I agree, more substrate is the way to go since you cant get one till later.
