Reptile Zoo Pictures! (WARNING PIC HEAVY)

Well, last week I went to a reptile zoo about an hour away from my house. It was pretty cool! Loved it there, definitely going back. A very dedicated place, that seems to sincerely care for their animals! They even sell reptile hides, foods, etc in the giftshop, so guess who got some new hides? LOL

Anyway, here are just a few pictures of some of the reptiles I saw (if you know the species Kudos, cause I can only remember a few :P)

Very cool pix... I know most of them and some are evading my mind at the moment but here goes...

1 & 13 are alligators (obviously right )

2. green vine snake

3. Black and white argentine tegu (being kept improperly tho... they should have a jungle floor substrait not rocks)

4. Gila monster (poisonous fella there)

5. looks like a cane toad... need more of a body shot to be certain tho.

6. looks like a carpet python but not sure

7. A monitor that was giving you the moon

8. ick tarantula...

10. red footed tortoise.

11. Pig-nosed turtle (seriousy! Google it, they're adorable )

12. Nile monitor lizard???

14. black pine snake, black racer, black rat snake... need to see the belly...

15. Some type of iguana, maybe green?

16. No idea on what that is, I can't tell if it's a crab or a scorpion... maybe a tarantula but it looks dead... hard to say what that one is.

WOW Kel! LOL! That is really impressive!
I recognize a lot of the names you said, all remind me of names I read at the Zoo so you must be right! Only one I know for sure you're right about is the Gila Monster (loved it!) and the Pig nosed turtle (loved it as well!)

I forgot to mention the last picture is supposed to be shedded tarantula skin(?) That's what it said on the sign anyway. I just really liked the colors :P

The alligators are either alligators or caiman, I can't remember the differences (I used to be able to tell the difference though). Pretty sure one pic is the alligators and one is the caiman.

Thanks everyone! Definitely loved it there, will be going back for sure! Just wish the glass wasn't so darn reflective! :P

LOL! It IS Reptilia! Do you live near it? We had quite a drive to get there, but it was well worth it!

OMG Kathryn we have got to get together some day. WE LOVE REPTILIA!!!! I kept thinking to myself wow, this looks so familiar...hahaha. I forgot how close we are to each other. I have a few leos for sale that I should post for you to take a look at, if you are interested....members get a real good price;)

LOL! I know, right? I've only been the one time, but I LOVED IT! I am sooooo going again! LOL. Its nice having someone in the area that loves reptiles too, I never usually meet people who like them XD
And you definitely SHOULD post the pictures! OMG, my mom will kill me if I buy another gecko, but I loves them :P
If I end up going to the reptile expo we should meet up there :3

Yes, I am definitely going to the Expo barring some unforseen disaster because it would take a total disaster to keep me away...hahaha!
