Hi from the Florida Panhandle
Hi everyone!!!
I started my Gecko venture two months ago with the addition of Charlie. I got him/her from a local pet store. I had no idea how young he was until I got him home. He was a tiny 3 grams. There was so much to read and learn about these guys!! Last week he weighed in at a whopping 7 grams. He eats mainly mealworms; crickets; and a few wax worms. I have him in a 30 gallon tank; reptile carpet with UTH and thermostat. I keep the warm side at 92 and the cool side runs around 78. He has a moist hide and dry hide on the warm side. I also have a dry hide on the cool side. He still is very shy, and his appetite is not all that great. Hopefully, I am doing everything ok.

Re: Hi from the Florida Panhandle
Since noone gave you the morph tut tut lol, i will...
He definitely doesnt look like he is genetically un-normal.
However he looks nice and bright. So he might turn out to be a nice tangerine.
A tangerine is basically a normal, but more orange

Thanks, Jordan!! Tangerine would be nice. Right now, I am just happy that he is finally growing and eating.

Re: Hi from the Florida Panhandle
Hi and welcome to LGF!! You will really enjoy yr time spent here. This forum is the best IMHO albeit small (but growing real fast).
Your baby leo is adorable and looking perfectly healthy. I esp love the single spot at the base of his tail tho I am sure that will disappear when he grows.
Good luck with Charlie and look forward to chatting with you!

Re: Hi from the Florida Panhandle
Charlie is now 11 grams. LOL, such a heavy weight!! I just inherited two adult females. They are in their own 20 Long Tank. Girl at work just got tired of these little ladies. They are very sweet!!
