It baffles me that I can't find a super giant snow leo.

If I start breeding, super giant normal * snow. Neutral

i think you get 25% super giant 25% giant 50% normal from breeding a super giant with a normal. dont hold me to that but i think thats the makeup Smile

You can only get super giant (from my understanding) by breeding a genetic giant to another genetic giant. If you breed a genetic giant to a non-genetic giant leo you will get 50% giant 50% normal sized. The snow giant is a recent development. Designer Geckos in Colorado have been working on this morph with great success. They're also a fabulous source for giant and super giant leos. They're pretty much the pioneers of the whole project. Ray is a fabulous guy with a great understanding of genetics. I would absolutely check them out if you're looking for giants.

if you bred Super Giant to a Snow (i presume we're talking mack snow here)

then you would 50% Giant Normals and 50% Giant Snows.

If your wanting to make a Super Giant Snow, then breed one of Giant Snows back to the Giant parent. And you will get 25% Super Giant Snows.

If your wanting Super Giant Super Snows, then breed two of the Giant Snow offspring together.

There's no interbreeding repercussions in leos?

perfectly normal.
Pretty much every breeder does it.

Obviously it can't go on for too many generations, as that can bring up the possiblities of deformities and bad gene's.

When breeding animals it would be called "line breeding" when breeding close relatives... interbreeding (or inbreeding) would be breeding direct siblings together but breeding mother to son or grandfather to grandaughter is a good line breeding protocol that will solidify your type. You usually don't want to line breed for more than 5 generations (that at least is the general standard applied to rabbit breeding) before you incorporate some new blood or as Jordan said you could start bringing out recessive negative traits that could funk up the whole thing.

Line breedng has a different meaning in the reptile world though im afraid Kel.

Line breeding is the breeding of any two leo's to increase a polygenic trait.
Breeding an orange leo to an orange leo to get oranger leo's.

If I start breeding, I'd definitely go with giants.
