Bad Pet Store Empty Bad Pet Store

I've got a pet store near me called Pet Store that feed their 5 month old leopard geckos almost every time the food bowl's empty and keep their Leos in sand. They also give their Leos heat lamps and I'm not sure if they even have a heat mat. Do you guys think i should report them?

up untill 1year old it doesn't hurt to feed a leo all it will eat as they digest and grow quicker when they are young. sand is personal preference really and altho it can cause impactions if digested alot of keepers use it without problem. Heat lamps are another personal preference really, i used to use heat-lamps in all my vivs that housed leo's and never had any problems with them, i only changed to heat mats when i put all my leo's into a rack system. my local pet shops keep there leo's on bark and use heat-lamps and all there leo's seem to look healthy enough.

This is the way MANY pet stores keep their leos. Although we disagree with it, it is not really considered neglect or abuse because it is technically an accepted way to house them.
