Hello there!
My name is Kodie, and I am a 6-month experienced owner in Leopard Geckos! I have roughly a year and half established into an anole, Daemon, and another-- Maybellene! I have two leopard geckos, Toothless and Phoenix. I originally fell in love with reptiles in Ball Pythons but as of yet cannot convince the wife to allow me one.
I haven't spied a "Field Herping" section yet, so I'll leave the picture in this post of some accidental field herping I did today.

Heres what I found, I believe it to be a Black Widow though I wasn't about to check for sure. This little gal has been removed and relocated verrrrry far from the house, we know it's a female because we found the dead male and a nest built. We've safely removed and relocated the nest with her!

Hi Kodie, welcome to the forum.
A very interesting picture, a scary evil looking spoder if im honest haha.
If you would like to make suggestion in the suggestions section about a field herping section, we will see if other members are interested in hasving it and it could easily be added for you.
Hope to see you round.

Re: Hello there!
Welcome to the forum kodie... oklahoma aye... How'd you come across our little site? as far as your little spider friend, not likely to be a black widow. They usually have a red hourglass on their backs. I'm not sure I would have relocated it tho... It wouldn't have lasted long in my house.
Re: Hello there!
I was just curious of forums for leopard geckos, and this one was one of the first hits in google for "Leopard gecko forum". I really chose it because it was a Leo forum first, and secondly a pet forum; rather than a reptile forum with a leo sub section. It seems to be a place where if I'm in a tight spot with something on my Leo's, I can ask a sensible group of people wealthy in experience.
Re: Hello there!
Hi and welcome to the forum. About the only thing I am not big on is spiders. I have even overcome my fear of snakes and begun holding them once in a while. Spiders....kill on site. Good for you relocating it though, I respect your caring in doing so. Anyhow....
