:O I want one.. I have a fujifilm finepix camera.. but it annoys me as I crashes and doesn't take amazing pics. I want a canon but I think I'll be saved for quite a while lol.

Ignorance Rick. I used to run screaming from the thought of a snake and since I decided I was being silly and needed to get over it, well look at me now. I have almost 40 reptiles! I actually have pictures of me holding snakes at Expos and such. It is just plain not knowing.
Re: Cheeto and Storm :) new member!
"slippy slimy slithering, bitey poisonous snakes" - why wouldn't you be scared of that?
So it only when people realise that snakes aren't that then they love em! ... or just like em. lol

Everyone I talk to about reptiles says "Why would you want to hold it? Isn't it slimy?"
I laugh, cause snakes are so soft in my opinion.

Re: Cheeto and Storm :) new member!
yeah, that was more of a hypothetical question, but i know there are many reasons...mostly a learned fear from parents telling their kids that reptiles are dangerous or whatever....but every kid in my neighborhood loves my snakes and lizards. and in the summer time i always get tired of the kids knocking on my door begging me to bring the herps out to show them, oh well, i created that monster! lol. i even have parents coming to my house to check out my collection...and a few have even bought babies from me! good stuff! i think unless a kid is told to "stay away from snakes"...they are naturally drawn to them. and though some may be a little reluctant to touch them at first, most end up holding them and begging their parents to get them one! i have at least six kids in the neighborhood who are happy owners of my offspring!

Re: Cheeto and Storm :) new member!
hahaha everyone says that about my giant african land snails.. they are not even slimy.. it just feels like water on your skin when they 'walk' up your arm
wow :O I'm like that.. if there was someone with loads of reptiles living on my street I would always be asking them to let me hold them
I agree with children being natural drawn to reptiles.. my niece is she loves my gecko. and when I volunteered in a pet shop and I'd be walking around with a lizard, children would always run up to me.. and their parents would be quiz me.. and refuse to touch them.
