Pores but no bulges? HELP??

im having some trouble sexing my petstore Leo, Max. ive had him about 5 or 6 months and i really want another one. but first i wanna find out max's gender.i looked on some sites and it seems there are 3 main ways to tell. preanal pores, femoral pores and the hemipenile bulges. it looks to me like he has the femoral pores definately, and maybe the preanal pores in the v shape? im not sure about that part. but i really dont see any traces of any hemipenile bulges. ill add a picture and leave it up for you guys so i can hear your say about it

Looks female to me also. In the picture, the pores don't look very defined.

There's a difference between a male's pores and the pore's of a female. What you see as pore's are just the arrangement of the skin; one a male, those pore's would be sunken in.

Also, I have a female with a bulge and a have male without a bulge. Bulges are not a great indicator. It's all about the pore's!

how long does it take for the pores to fully develop? cuz she is only like 6 or 7 months old

females will still have the pores, they just arent as pronounced as the pores on a male. She definitely doesnt have any hemipenal bulges either.

Actually what the female has aren't pores, but scales arranged the same way.

6-7 months should be old enough to get a pretty accurate sex
