The Walking Dead?

Who watches The Walking Dead? I do every Sunday. Comes on AMC 8PM Central time on Sundays. I don't know about areas outside the US though. I think it's a pretty good show.

Awesome show, I never miss an episode

I'm glad whoever is making the series on TV got it instead of someone else. I don't think it can get much better than what it is in visual quality.

Yeah they've done a good job with it. I never thought there could be a quality zombie TV series.

They do need to get back to what made season 1 so exciting though. They're doing too much character development, not enough zombie action. I just hope the producers see what made the show great, and get back to what drew everybody in.

Tonight's episode was intense. Only one more left in this season. If you didn't know..... "AMC renewed The Walking Dead for a third season on October 25, 2011 after the season two premiere broke cable ratings records in the 18–49 demographic."

I watched season one and it was brill, but the second season seemed very dull, they seem to have forgot that there are zombies haha. It's almost a different show now.

Ahhh this next episode is going to be crazy!

I'm a huge comic book nerd and the fact that it didn't follow the ongoing comic book series irks me...random new characters...even slightly different persona. The series had enough drama without the soap opera stuff thrown in for the show...

I've been having to treat this as if it's not actually called "The Walking Dead". If you've kept up to date with the comics, you'll probably get where I'm coming from. Don't get me wrong, though. I still like the show, but not for accuracy!

Well they said beforehand that the show wouldn't be like the comics because they wanted to offer something new to everyone. I haven't read the comics but I intend to now because I just didn't know The Walking Dead existed.

Robert Kirkman helps make the show what it is too, so it's not like someone just bought the rights to it and are doing what they want with it.

True, but I didn't expect that drastic of a change. I was really expecting the characters (from the comic) to at least follow the basic storyline that was laid out already, but obviously not follow it 100% since TV shows and movies never capture the originality of what the show is based off of, even if they try. However, having random new characters, a poorer character/group structure, and unexpected turns (I'd elaborate, but I'd spoil the comic for you), they might as well just rename all of the original characters or kill them off (it already seems like it's going in that direction anyway).

The only thing so far that's accurate from the comic book is Michone. If you don't know who that is, you haven't read the comic and I'm not spoiling it for you

I've been a zombie/zombie apocalypse fanatic for years...even the little inaccuracies from the show itself irritates me since the "zombie accuracy" was fantastic in the comic. But that's just me... overly critical about things I have a high interest in.

i love the walking dead was so exided for season 2 but i was hoping for lot more zombies ! but looks like season 3 will be crazy!!!

I don't mind the minor lack of zombies, but they sure made up for it in the latest episode!!
I actually wanted to read the comics once I found them...but thought twice. I don't want to ruin the TV series for myself...since I get pretty testy when tv/movie makers take something from a book/comic and twist it to make more money.

I might end up reading the comics because of how long it probably is gonna take the next season to get here. It's suppose to have 16 episodes and last season it was 13 and it took awhile just to get that 13 out the door.
