The best feeling

My little man has just eaten his first thing since I got him, I think the one of the best feelings knowing they feel comfortable enough to get some food. He stills shys away in his coconut hide whenever I come in my room but Ill give him time

When did you get this little guy?

I got him Saturday evening, and had a little trouble with his temps so it only really got up to heat Sunday lunchtime and then He ate last night that I saw, and woke up this morning an his mealie dish is empty

it took cleo about a week before she was out and about and started putting my hand in her viv so keep calm and it will come eventually , ur off to a great start and soon u will have the bet feeling when they first lick ur hand and climb over it i remeber that point made me feel like a kid again

I remember my girls when I first started handling them and now they love a good stroke as soon as I walk into my room they come to the glass

It appears that I was lucky when I got Starbuck. She ate within two days after I got her and she's always been pretty chill. She was just freaking out a little bit the first night.

But it sounds like yours is settling in pretty well too!

Younger geckos can be a little stubborn about eating at first, but I guess it depends on the gecko at the same time.
