He's about 3 years young and around 5 inches long, and lives in a 5 gallon aquarium. It's amazing how big, and old, goldfish can get if you just give them a nice home and room to grow Smile

That sure is a BIG goldfish... thinking at all about putting it in a larger aquarium to see just how big he will get?

I thought about it, but setting up a new aquarium always seems to be more expensive than expected haha. I had an extra 10g aquarium all set up but I decided to give it to my boyfriend for his birthday since he really wanted a fish. He ended up putting a goldfish in there so we're just waiting for that one to get huge as well!

Plus, I was thinking that after being that size and in that tank for over 2 years, he might be done growing and not grow to the size of a larger tank.

Oh my... that is a HUGE goldfish. Shocked

How many gallons is that tank for perspective? I'm sure he would love to be in a larger aquarium when you get it. Very Happy

Woops, meant to put that in the original post Smile His tank is 5 gallons.

He's usually really active. And he always knocks over that little hut in the front of his tank, so I'm sure he would love a larger one too ^.^
