Where to order geckos from

Where is the most reliable place ya'll know to order from. I got Mary Jane from Gecko Ranch, Troy came from Crested gecko, Tracie came from petsmart ( We got lucky seeing as how shes a SHTCTB 100 percent carrot tail. ) Jessie came from Petsmart. I am looking at some whole sale sites like Big Apple but im not sure if they will be very healthy or not. I also do not know exactly what they look like, but their cheeper. On the other hand geckos from selective breeder sites may be more healthy. I am very conflicted right now and i really want the best i can get at an economicly right price. I dont necisarily want a Normal or jungle you know the same ol' same ol'. I need something good for breeding and it needs to be a male. So far i havent been able to find a combination like that. Iv'e also been conflicted beetween a SHTCTB,Blizzard, or an Ember.

I would say that since you're loking for a specific gender and type that a breeder would be better than a wholesale site since you can get a sub adult with confirmed gender. I got my leo from a breeder in utah, gecko euphoria, adam, was a great deal for my bold mack snow male. Altogether with shipping under 120$ and healthy leo, safe shipping, plus he started handling him more for me in the weeks leadng up to his shipping to make sure he was well tamed. I can pm you his email address if you decide to go that route, not sure if his web site is up and running yet. Also you can check here in the classified secton, we get a few posts by breeders forleos for sale. A lot will depend on your location tho as a few breeder are located in the uk.

Yea id like his email that is sounding good, also i looked at the classfieds and they where either in the uk, not a good mach for my female, or a little out of my range. I'm in south carolina so idk about the shipping but yea thanks again. Il take the email.

To my knowledge mardy you can't post links to other forums our discussion groups. I'll have to double check that one in the forum rules as I thought breeders were ok as long as they didn't have message boards in their sites but sometimes things change with the rules and I'm not always brought up to speed if it isn't in the mod forum.

Double checked the rules and there is nothing forbidding the posting of links to breeders sites. I think the problem mardy was you were advertising your site in your signature if I remember correctly.

Noppers, I've sent a list of breeder sites that I recommend to quite a few people now, and not once did I include my site. I don't have anything for sale yet, wouldn't make sense to advertise it. The question about my site came up with signatures, which was squared away with Jordan.

But one time someone asked for a list and I openly posted asking if it's ok to post the links, someone told me I would have to send them via pm. If it's ok to post links to breeder sites now, then cool. I just wanted to make sure.

So could you put the name of your site in your signature but not say BUY IT NOW!!!! or not even the site?

No, youre not allowed to post links to any business in your signatures with out consent from jordan

No I don't mind small discreet links in the signature. However blatant advertising and excessive links can be moderated to our liking. Banners in the signature is not allowed.

As regards to regular posts, breeder links are allowed again, without being blatant advertising, and can again be moderated to our liking if we feel it is advertising.
Links to other forums or discussion/bulletin boards are not allowed in signatures or posts.
