Accessing Private Messages

I received an email that a user had sent me a private message, but when I clicked the link in the email, Internet Explorer said the page was unavailable and when I logged onto the site, I cannot figure out how to access my private messages.

on your tool bar at the top there should be a email thing next to user and you'll find your emails in there

Yeah the button which says Email is actually your PM's. I know thats confusing, but it will be changed at some point when i have a graphic designer.
