Re: Gravid Leo??
Yes she definitely is.
Do you know if she has been bred or not?
If she hasn't then she may not lay them, and if she does lay them then they will be infertile.
Interesting username you have there lol. May i ask where the inspiration for that came from?

Re: Gravid Leo??
Thanks so much for your help everybody, yes she has been with a male. I thought she looked gravid but just wanted to see what you guys said. This is my first time breeding leos, I have bred Cresties before though. Does it look like she may be close to laying?? I have a lay box in there and she just started digging a little bit.
Lol and thanks, I just love reptiles and have so many, GirlWithScales just seemed appropriate lol

Also, does anyone know how the hatchlings might turn out to look?? She is a Mack Snow and the male is a Bell Albino.

Re: Gravid Leo??
To the OP, i'm afraid you won't get any that look like that. You won't get bell albino's, only het bell albino's.samsleopardgeckos wrote:they will prob be mack snow bell albinos and look something like this little hatchling when they come out of the egg

Personally i use vermiculite, i find it doesn't dry up as quick.
Re: Gravid Leo??
Everything after Jordan's post (#10, and you should include some thread post count icon thingy would be really helpful ) is being split into an introduction thread for girlwithscales. BTW... welcome to the forum Good luck with your leo... I have no experience breeding so I can't add to whether or not she looks gravid.
Re: Gravid Leo??
if you want to move it kel feel free but im happy leaving it as is, as it went back onto the topic.
and i would say it probably wont be to long before she lays them.

Re: Gravid Leo??
So she laid the eggs!! She must have laid them in the middle of the night and I found them when I woke up this morning. I'll show you a picture, but the lighting in the pic almost makes them look slightly tinted yellow, but they are not. They are perfectly white, but they are very soft. =/
But either way, I'm glad she laid them okay and seems to be doing just fine.
What do you guys think??

Re: Gravid Leo??
Yeah thats what I figured. It just freaked me out a little bc all my crestie eggs were definitely a little more firm when i found them. But hopefully they will be good.
