What morph? Empty What morph?

Post by Kouneli Sun Oct 30, 2011 2:20 pm

So I've had Kensi since August, and she was sold to me as a Jungle Albino, but I'm still curious as to what kind? Bell? Tremper? I heard that the eyes have something to do with it, but it's hard to get a really good close-up picture of her eyes because she's so sensitive to the light. Also, have you ever seen a tail like that? I'm a newbie when it comes to leopard geckos, so I haven't seen one myself like that.

Not sure bout the morph as im still learning myself but the tail is just fine. Nice and plump means nice and well fed and in good health. Leo Geckos store fat in there tails so thats always a good way to tell that your leo is being feed properly and is eating well

It does look tremper albino. What you look for in the eyes are silver'ish for tremper albino, red/pink'ish for bell, and darker silver'ish for las vegas (rainwater) albino.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Mardy. And, asianpersuasion, was meaning the pattern on her tail. lol She's a rather good eater (would like a bit more weight on her, though, but she's fine). But I was wondering if anyone else has seen a pattern on the tail such as hers.

Tremp, possible bell, a good eye shot would tell the tale. Wink

Looks like a Jungle Bells Albino. The jungle refers to the broken band patterning as can be seen on the tail. Gorgeous leo.
