I was out of town for 2 days and I didn't realize Pepper was going to shed. She was soaking her feet in the sink water before I got the Q-tip out to wipe it off and she gave me this look like "MAWM! Where were you? What are you doing? Why are you doing this to me?" And I laughed so hard I had to get a picture. BTW - all the shed came off fine, her toes are still fine.

Yes I have! I haven't updated my signature though, I should do that soon! I named her Rosie. My best friend suggested it, cause she's pretty as a Rose, but prickly (as in personality) as a rose's thorns!

My parents are letting me get another one! LOL. I want to get a boy this weekend at the expo in my area. I want to breed Rosie this season if she is ready. I'm planning to get an APTOR, RAPTOR or sunglow.

When I wanted another leo, I just kept talking about them, and playing with mine alot. XD I just kept at it for a long time. I looked online, and found a breeder. I found a cheaper (not too cheap) leo, and asked. They said we could "just go look". And then I got one.

I think part of the reason my parents let me have so many pets is because I want to be a vet when I am older, and getting the different pets allows me to get a bit of experience in a range of different animals.

I hope you'll get another one day! Do you still have a lot of bettas? As my bettas kept passing away (columnaris outbreak), I didn't replace them and that left room for leos. Although I love bettas, the leos are more fun for me (and easier to care for). I think thats another reason why they let me get more leos, as the fish passed.

I hold Pepper almost every single day and I talk about her alot, I enjoy her so much. She's my favorite pet! <3 I want to be a vet too!!! I adore animals. I have 3 betta fish, a Super Delta, tail biting HM and a gorgeous VT girl, who is probably my favorite. Then I have Pepper! I love animals, but leopard geckos are my new favorite small pet. I just recently lost one of my betta fish, his name was Dumbo. I had him for a year! But I wasn't allowed to get another betta, since I have 3. I really want another gecko though. :'( But I guess for now Pepper will continue to be my 1 and only! <3 I'm sorry about columnaris! It's awful. :/ Good luck getting a new leo this weekend!

I hold my leos everyday as well. I usually take the babies out at the same time, and take Miracle out by herself. Miracle isn't really mine anymore, my mom has kinda adopted her from me lol! She has her out more than I do, but she won't feed her (she's afraid of the worms :P ).
What kind of vet do you want to be? I can't be a large animal vet (horses, cows etc) as I have a medical illness that limits me to certain things. I'm thinking about becoming a herp vet. I really like reptiles
I lost another betta yesterday. I love them, but its so sad when they die, I can't take the dieing so quickly. Leos live so much longer. I have 2 females bettas left.
And thanks!! I might not get one now, as my aunt is giving me her blue tongue skink. I'll have to talk to my parents about it! :P

I hold Pepper everyday, she's become very tolerable of it. <3 It used to be she hissed at me when she was very little and ran away as soon as she could. Now I just scoop her up very easily and she sits in my hand for ages. Awww! Miracle is so sweet and loveable though. <3

My mom wants me to be a big animal vet because most of them in my state are older and there will be a shortage soon, plus the pay is even better. Not that that matters to me! I adore animals, but I am a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge horse nut.

I'm so sorry about your betta! It is very sad when they die. But leo's do live a very long time. I'm very glad for that! 15 or 20 years would be amazing.

Ooh, that would be very cool if you could get a skink! I still want another leo more than anything... I wish my parents would let me! I'm very responsible and have done, I think, a great job with Pepper. I have the funds and I'd take really good care of the new one, and maybe save it's life from petco or petsmart like I did with Pepper. <3 Oh well. Soon I hope!
