Super Excited!!!!

I am so excited cos going to pick up my baby cham tomorrow. Its going to be a 6hr drive but worth it. Been setting up a transport container but its late now and need to get a good night's sleep. Too excited for words!!!

Ok, the eagle has landed, actually chameleon but anyway. What a long trip and so tiring. Drove 6hrs there, watched a national rugby final and then drove back 6hrs through the night. He is now in his new home and doing good. Well, not the real one cos he is way too small and will get lost in it. At the moment he is in a small plastic tub as he is only 5cm in length (incl. his tail). I will get a pic or two soon, just letting him settle in a bit first. Oh, and his name is Pluto.

i'm currently trying to get some money to buy myself a panther cham.

Lindsey, he is a red-bodied, blue-barred ambanja panther chameleon. Quite a mouthful isn't it? Here is the first pic that I have managed to get of him cos he does not like the camera and hides away by dropping himself underneath the branch that he is sitting on. With his body being so small, you can't see him cos he is the same thickness and colour as the stick. I also don't want to freak him out cos we know how easily chams get stressed.



Is he cute or what? I asked my mom to go check on him the other day when I was at work and she said she couldn't find him so I panicked but then she said she spotted him but only cos he moved his eyes. She calls him my little blob of poo. Lol.

he's so cute! i love ambanjas. they are one of my favorite locales of panther chams. good luck to you with him. post more when he starts to shed and show some color!
