i love snakes but if i got a snake i would never ever ever feed it live mice... rats etc... no no no no no poor mice ... squeek squeek ... dead... oww no.

It's not that bad, most rats/mice don't "scream in pain" and blood doesn't get slung everywhere. It's actually a rather clean affair, just larger poop. :0

i couldnt do it i would always feed frozen i want a hognose ... they are sexy snakes lol x

I'm no sure about hoggies, but ball pythons are a pain to get on frozen mice. I wanted to do tha too, but my snake is super picky about it.

well i have just been looking on youtube... and people say on there that hog's eat lizards mainly and you have to get them into eating pinkies but said when that happens you should get the pet shop or breeder to do that x

it's okay im sure it's illegal to feed live mice in this country, or anything with a vertebrae/spinal cord because it is proven that they can feel pain and they have said it's animal cruelty under legislation. I have a friend that feeds 'live' but he gases them or something so they are passed out Sad
