Closer to becoming what you want then?
thank. nah, it doesn't really mean anything to universities unless i apply to vet nursing.. and I don't want to be a vet.. i couldn't deal with all the blood and stuff. It does mean something to animal care employers because it says I can administer vet meds, although they only teach us to give injections into a piece of chicken beast lol
Thanks everyone!! I didn't revise because I was sooo busy with my assignments and i was soo nervous that I would fail alot of my friends failed by like 1 point :S it was out of 30.. and you were allowed to get 4 answers wrong and you would still pass. everyones questions were different.. some people had like 1 or 2 questions the same.

I wanted to be a vet since I was 7... until I found out you had t go thru like 12 years of schooling. 4 years college 4 years med school then internship. Then add on the guts. (Not that I'm squeemish), surgery rotations, etc before you could even specialize in behavior. Didn't want to do surgery. I wann fix their heads... behavioral sciences programs offer the best of both worlds because it's offered under biology sciences so you learn some of the medical as medical conditions can affect behavior. Plus you get a greater understanding of the behavioral processes which most medical programs lack as behavior usually doesn't affect health. Understand?
As an animal behavior speciaist I have the pleasure of the vet end by examining the medical/psychiology side of it with out the surgery/mess... but I also get to mes with their heads to improve their behavior to be a more productive member of society.

yes I understand.
I wanted to be a vet as a child.. but when i saw that you had to have A* and that the university programmes were soooo expensive, I decided that it was too much :/ I could have trained as a vet nurse at university, but I have decided that zoology is more for me. I love the ecology, behaviour and science lecturs that zoology will provide but i'll have to wait for a year to have enough points to get accepted into the course at nottingham trent university. By then, university course tutition fees will be up to £9,000 a year.. now they are almost £3,000 and then theres the cost of the housing and living.. thats about £5,000 a year. if i wasn't for student loans.. i wouldn't even have the chance to go to uni
i think animal behaviour is very interesting. I study it as one of my modules at college.. its not very advance at college but it still enjoy it
