Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and I realise this question has probably been asked a thousand times, so please forgive me and bear with me!
I'm about to get my first leopard gecko. I currently keep Western Hermanns tortoises (Testudo Hermanni Hermanni) and an albino Cranwell's frog (pacman). I give the tortoises and frog nutrobal one feed and limestone flour (calcium carbonate) on the next. I also have Euro Rep's "Reptavite" (which I believe is different from "Reptivite")
So, with a Leopard Gecko:
1. can I use the nutrobal and calcium carbonate?
2. should I use the reptavite?
3 Something else?
Obviously I'd rather use the nutrobal/calcium, but if that was going to do damage, I would, of course, get something else.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Supplements
i'm sorry that no one replied to your questions, every one usually jumps on these kinds of questions. i remember viewing your question but not knowing how to answer it. what i use for my leopard gecko is rapashy superfoods leopard gecko calcium plus, i dust her food every time i feed her but i do not leave any in her tank with her, i was told to do it that way so not to give her calcium bubbles. i have no clue on the other stuff so sorry i cant help there.
Re: Supplements
I'm not sure about how correct I am on this, but calcium carbonate is what calcium sand is made out of...which can impact a leopard gecko. I'm not exactly sure of the calcium carbonate's consistency (I'm assuming it's powder), but I wouldn't risk it. I use the same supplement as Mystic (Repashy Plus).
As for the nutrobal, I don't see why you can't use it. If you buy some calcium, you can dust 5 days calcium and 2 days nutrobal. But if you decide on the Repashy, it won't be necessary. I find it easier, actually.

Re: Supplements
I personally use a rotation of Reptivite with and without D3. It works great.

Re: Supplements
I also use Repashy Leo calcium plus and i also keep a dish of calcium with out D3 in there vivs at all times. @ Tsuhei you need to supply leos and any other reptiles with calcium which calcium carbonate is essentially. Most all good calcium supplements have calcium carbonate in them. It is the actual sand particles themselves that causes the impactions as no reptile can digest sand in any way no matter what the labels may say.
