Re: RIP Rhubarb :(
sorry i didn't tell anyone she was sick but was hoping it was going to be a easy fix like 2/3months ago. Due to her producing eggs even tho she wasn't with the male she completely drained herself of calcium even tho she was well supplemented with calcium in her food and water she kept sending it all to her eggs which resulted in something called hypocalcemia (later stages of MBD) this caused toe-tapping, shivering, thrashing around, biting, death roles and inability to right herself if she fell on her back. Its treatable in 3different ways 1- calcium injections 2-calcium injections & a implant every 6months to stop eggs being produced 3-spay her so she coulld never lay eggs again unfortunalty 1 just wouldn't be fair on her as this could keep happening everytime she prodduces eggs and 2&3 were just to expensive for us to do so that just having her put to sleep she was only just over 1yr6months old bless her but its not a common thing to happen according to the vet.

Re: RIP Rhubarb :(
Awww, I'm so sorry.
She was a beautiful crestie, and you took great care of her. I'm sure she loved the life she had with you. You gave her a great home, and I'm sure she's grateful to you for that.
RIP
