My new leopard gecko from Jolene!
Please welcome my new little gal, who I got from Jolene yesterday after we met up at the reptile expo!
It was so nice to meet Jolene and her family! Can't wait to meet up with her again!
Don't know what to name her yet! :P
Edit: She's a tremper albino.
See my other purchase I got at the expo here: http://www.leopardgeckoforum.com/t1333-new-golden-gecko-expo-purchase#13208

Do you think she needs to be quarentined? I kinda thought she'd be able to meet them soon cause I trust you that you took care of her. :P
It WAS huge! I loved it! So much to see! I could have stayed their all day! :P I hope your daughter is feeling better by the way!

Re: My new leopard gecko from Jolene!
She is not mack snow Charlie, she is a Tremper Albino...sorry hon to argue with yah but I know the genetics
None of my leos have ANY signs of illness Kathryn but I was just letting you know if you quarantine her I would be ok with that.....just because you know me doesn't mean that my leos can't get sick. My cousin who takes AMAZING care of ALL her reptiles just lost three to crypto. you never know
The choice is yours though. As I said if they were showing any signs of illness of course I would not sell them.

Quarantine period is also used for getting to know your gecko, checking its poo's, checking its eating, and its schedule. Getting to to know its behaviour.
Puttin it with other gecko's straight away will stop you from getting to know these things, its a good idea to quarantine even if the gecko is defniitely helathy

no saying your wrong - but she doesn't look like a normal tremper very pale compared to my tremper I hatched out. could she be a mack snow tremper ?
2-4 month quarantine is great for any new animal. Have to agree with the others, this makes sure the new one isn't going to bring in any nasties, and during this period of quarantine you should do some stool samples to make sure - not all parasites show themselves until it become real bad

She isn't pale, the photos are just a little washed out. I'm pretty sure good ol' Jolene would know what she's working with.
Re: My new leopard gecko from Jolene!
She's also pale because she's getting ready to shed.
I woke up today and her body is very very white.
Thanks guys for the QT info!

Fair enough, I was only stated a point that she looked pale in photo :/
Re: My new leopard gecko from Jolene!
Thanks everyone!
She is such a cutie! I'm already in love with her! No name yet still, just calling her baby :P
She hasn't eaten yet, but thats to be expected since she's in a new home. But she is settling in very well. I got her a new black hide and she LOVES it. She also loves coming out to play on my bed. She's getting more and more adventurous everyday!
Also, she shed all by herself yesterday! I was so proud! I went in my room to have a nap, and she was rubbing against her hide getting all the skin off. SO CUTE!
