Re: How long do I wait
I hate to say this hon as I know how passionate you are about your herps, but if you profess yourself to be a leopard gecko breeder you should already know this stuff... is this a female that came into you already bred or one you coupled with a male?
The gestation period for a leopard gecko is about 4 to 6 weeks, from mating to egg-laying. At that point, they will lay 2 eggs. 2 to 4 weeks later, another 2 eggs...and so on. They usually lay 4 clutches of 2 eggs per season.
Please take a little time to read a little deeper into the husbandry needs of mating leos esp. the female laying leos needs just to make sure you're fresh on all the latest data.
Good luck... can't wait to see if she gives ya a clutch (or 4 )

Re: How long do I wait
Its not a leopard gecko its a crested gecko. I didnt know weather they are the same waiting/delevopement time as a leo or not
She was put in with a male last week some time. i know a lot about leo breeding, but this isnt about leo breeding Kermit its about crested geckos. ive read up about breeding them, says their min age weight etc and the care needed but not about laying periods.
and to refere to your statment about "they usually lay 4 lots of 2" this isnt always true and all depends on age
