A little dissapointing i thought.
I love SS eclipses though, but i was expecting something really awesome, not something that i've seen plenty of times before.

yeah i know what you mean lol i dont think the galaxy is the best name as the colouring is wrong(needs to be black with yellow spots all over and a white face). i did expect a little more wow like when the black pearl first came out but its still a lovely looking gecko

Oh yeah it looks nice, i would definitely buy one for normal pricing, but there will likely be a massive price tag stuck on it since its Tremper.

Meh I'm not impressed... and the reason the face looks wierd is because that thing has a serious underbite going on. Looks like a regular ole super snow to me with a yellow paradox spot.

Also if Tremper thinks his first sale is gonna be in Japan, he's gonna have a long wait... well past his expected release date.

nah its definitely a SS eclipse. But the thing that annoys me, is there are only 5... and only 3 of them have the paradox spot. lol.

Just for the record, apparently it was very well recieved in Japan. Japan love tremper, they throw tremper specific shows and things.. lol

I was meaning miost of Japan is going to be focusing on recovery from the quakes and tsunami moreso than geckos... plus if those reactors get any worse radiation poisoning could be a real BIG factor too... I wouldn't travel there any time soon.

Was I the only one that noticed the horrid underbite??? That's a genetic defect and shouldn't be reproduced. That animal shouldn't even be bred... but you know it likely is.

Lol oh yeah, duh *slaps face*

If i'm honest i didnt notice it, but it was noticed a lot on another forum.
Yeah it will be reproduced porbably. But hopefully out of the five that exist there will only be that one with an underbite.

Not bloody likely... something like an underbite is a MAJOR flaw imo. No matter HOW limited the gene pool, and honestly BECAUSE the gene pool is so limited it absolutely SHOULDN'T be bred, it will pass it along and it will be reproduced in at least half of it's offspring. Trying to be the first out with something new is no reason to violate solid breeder's ethics imo.

No no i agree, when something comes out with great new colours, it must be free of any negative effects before being reproduced largely. Heck i NEED to know this as i am currently working on something which is brand new and never been done, (though i don't wish to let any info out at the mo) and i'm reproducing it, if any negativities are released with it, then heck i'm finished being such a small breeder. However i don't think Ron Tremper need to worry, which is probably the reason its been released without sorting the underbite. Which is wrong but i dunno, its happened before it will happen again.

just a quick note: bloody can seem quite a strong word in a some contexts in the UK so use it scarcely.
