can an enclosure be too big?
I just lost my Bearded Dragon a few weeks back, i had him in a 90 gallon tank. i have had a leopard gecko when i was a kid and plan on getting one to replace my beardie. is a 90 gallon tank too big to house just one gecko? i have everything i need but a tank. if its too big i would plan to add a dividing wall, gecko on one side and breed crickets or meal worms on the other. is this a good idea?

Re: can an enclosure be too big?
There is such thing as too much space. A lot of wide open space can be quite daunting, especially to a young gecko. Its also a lot harder to remember feeding spots, best hides, water spots, best cool spots etc...
so a divider would be a good idea.

I would suggest putting a divider because a lot of open space can possibly stress young geckos. Or you can divide the enclosure into four and thats enough to keep one gecko for every 15 gallon part.
