Sticky - My stick insect
Unforantly he passed away before coming onto this forum. We think it was due to a bad molt. I have looked into getting another, but at this moment in time, I haven't the time, so it will be a on going progress of getting on.
Re: Sticky - My stick insect
I think these guys are incredible. So different and unique. Didn't know you could keep them as pets. I have a photo somewhere of a stick insect that was sitting on one of our cacti outside for many days. I will try to locate it and post it in this section for stick insect lovers to see.

Re: Sticky - My stick insect
Over here you can keep most insects as pets. The Indians are the cheapest, and only cost around 50p
Re: Sticky - My stick insect
Yeah my college breed them, and there were millions they would keep escaping from their meshed enclosure .. and we would be searching for calcium or crestie diet and a mini indian stick insect would appear.
wow sticky was soo cute.. RIP

Re: Sticky - My stick insect
I really really want some hissing cockroaches, but my mom hates them and won't let me
Re: Sticky - My stick insect
I don't mind them, but could never own one. The only insects I would have is a stick insect (that doesn't fly or shot acid from it's bum) or a spider
Re: Sticky - My stick insect
I want a praying mantis.. but I probably wouldnt handle it because i've seen the bites some of the larger species can do. I want a leafy stick inserts.. and I'm obsessed the Giant african land snails
Re: Sticky - My stick insect
We had so many Giant african lands snails. Ended up giving loads away, they just breed like Crazy! and yes I want a Praying matius too, but they can fly so that puts me off.
