Photo Competitions? Anyone interested?

Hey

I was wondering if everyone was interested in taking part in photo competitions each month..? I brought the idea up to Jordan and I just wanted to know what everyone else thinks. I think it would be fun and a great way of showing off our gorgeous pets

There could be a different theme every month. The winner of the months competition could choose a theme for the next months competition. Anyone have any ideas? The winners photo could be displayed on a homepage or something.. I'll leave Jordan to the web design parts lol

Nah id set it up in a sub forum in the miscelaneous section. (so if we go ahead with it, it will be in your section and i'd have to explain in more detail to you about it)
It would basically be, section called photo of the month or something. And i or you (since your the super of that section ) would make a thread called 'March photo competition' and then people would post their pics according to the theme of the month. And then at the end of the month the original post will be edited to include a Poll containing all the months entries, in which people will vote for their favourite.
The winner would get their name and photo on the homepage until the next winner is chosen. They would also get to choose the theme for the next month.

I'd be happy to do one too as long as it didn't always have to be lizards. I have a TON of great nature shots.

I love taking photos of nature, although they are probably not as good as yours. my camera is pretty rubbish :'( i want a canon

Haha no it wouldn't have to be lizards. But it would have to be linked to the theme. So a good theme would be, 'I wish i hadn't done that...' or 'Animals acting daft' .. etc.
