A way to get to know each other

Hi, i just thought as a way to get to know more about each other i would ask

what do you do at home? when your not on the forum :P lol

I play guitar a lot, and have been playing for years. i make sure i get at least 3 hours on guitar everyday.
I mostly play heavy metal, and i know loads of Trivium.
I own 5 guitars which are awesome lol.

I've also been playing drums for years, and own an electric durm kit and an acoustic drum kit, but don't get to go on them everyday unfortunately.

I play lots of games, on wii, ps3 and xbox and im also a blu-ray fan lol
I watch loads of dvd's, mainly with my long term girlfriend called Ella who i have been with for over 2 years.

I like puzzles like the rubiks cube and can solve the regular 3x3 rubiks cube in less than 25 seconds. and also ones similar very fast too.

I work at morrisons, unfortunately, but it helps pay for the gecko's and guitars.

Obviously, im on this forum a lot, im also on other forums, and i obviously breed gecko's. lol.

So i think thats everything. thats me.
Unless i think of something else soon. lol.

I already knew everything else you said .. and there is nothing wrong with morrisons I go there all the time.. went there today because I love morrison's own milkshakes woo!! you can't beat two little bottles for a £1. I'm abit obsessed with milkshake lol

I thought i'd answer the question: what do you do when youre at home??

- I play my xbox 360- medievil games are my favourite. I play guitar hero but i'm not very good at it.

- I love photography.. I take alot of photos of nature and animals.

- I read I'm a book nerd!!

- I spend alot of my evenings on this forum

- I watch movies alot of horrors!! and studio ghibli anime movies.

- I don't have a job. I go to myerscough college which is a very big agricultural and motorsports college in the countryside of preston. It was originally a college for farmers children or something and it's been open for years lol I study animal management there.

- I love baking. I like making cookies and cakes.. things like that. I once made a pie lol


I don't know what else to say about myself tbh.. anyone can ask me questions if they want to know something lol

Haha, same, i think my favourite genre is comedy and drama. I mainly prefer to watch like series of stuff rather than films. Like Lost and American Dad and Peep Show...

yeh i believe you said you like fable some other time. I played fable 2 for ages but then eventually got bored of it, i never bought fable 3 as i thought it would just be the same to be honest.

hmmm.. yeah once you have completed the main story line, the game becomes very boring. I completed fable 3 in 16 hours lol and i didn't want to waste my money buying it sooo i borrow it from a friend.

I like series I like family guy, true blood, the middle, reaper, my name is earl , american dad... loads of series really i watched lost for series 1 and 2 and then i got bored.

my favourite movies are rom coms and horrors.

haha i am actually, it took a hell of a lot of playing on GH3 to get good.
You know the famous through the fire and flames dragonforce song on it? thats really hard, i can play that in real life too lol. By real life i mean real guitar lol.

I don't think i ever completed the main storyline, i think i just sort of made loads and loads of money by buying and selling properties. Cuz im into stuff like that, stockbroking and trading.

What!?! you got bored of lost lol... but it was literally one of the best things that has ever been made on tv. Literally. Not just my opinion. lol.
But critically too. And american dad is awesome lol.

haha i'm sure i would have loved lost if it wouldn't have changed channels and i had not of ended up watching random episodes, not in order lol... one day, i will get the box set and my opinion will probably change.

i love dragonforce got alot of CD's by them. haha cooool i wish i had the time to learn guitar.. if i go to this sixth form next year.. they have guitar lessons sooo i might just take them up lol wooo go you! i have some friends who are amazing at playing guitar lol

Haha, Ella LOVES sims, she plays sims 3 now though, she's upgraded lol. She had like all the expansions packs for 2 lol.

hahaha sims 2 is like amazing though. I played sims 3 and i didn't like it just wasn't the same.. I didn't like the graphics.. they aimed to make the people look more like proper people but it looked weird.

:O lucky her!! I only have sims 2 pets, sims 2 nightlife and sims 2 bon voyage. I want the sims 2 university one :'(

my favourite dragon force songs are: where dragons rule, dawn of a new world and fury of the storm :O omg they cannot change the singer.. ewww -_- not impressed.

Although the Sims 2 and the first expansion pack were Ella's I took them over and bought all the rest. I love Sims 2, not sure if I want to get Sims 3 for pc...Ella bought me the one for the Wii at Christmas and unfortunately I really prefer 2 for pc.

What I do these days is try to plan/help out with the planning for my older daughter's wedding in a couple of months. She only proposed to him in December so we don't have long to get it all together - I really need to spend less time on the computer and get on with the stuff I have to get ready for it.

i like long walks on the beach, ...no, just kidding! lol! i used to fight professional mixed martial arts and pro kickboxing for nine years, still roll in jui jitsu and stuff. i shoot competitive archery, i shoot HOYT bows. i have been keeping and breeding reptiles since i was nine, i am 34 now. i also like to ride mountain bikes and do outdoorsy type stuff. i would like to get another good camera and get more serious about photagraphy...my canon dslr got stolen a couple years ago. i am also a big advocate for pitbull rights and i loooove my dogs! all dogs, but bullys are my favorite! my kids take up alot of my time too, and what they dont get..my reptiles get. i bred chondros when i was seventeen, which i am very proud of because most people couldnt even keep them alive at that time. i have also worked with a lot of venomous snakes, but dont anymore because i have the kids now, and dont have a seperate building to house them in. if i ever get to build another building ide like to get a few more hots. anyway that is a little about me...

Well, for me:

I am 19 years old, and will be a sophomore in college this coming August. I am married, I married my wife on June 21st of 2010 and we both attend college together. I'm studying Computer Science, at Oklahoma State University, and my wife is studying Secondary Education. My wife was a little reluctant to get into reptiles with me, but after some convincing she sort of likes them now too .

When not on the forum, I'm usually cleaning right now. I'm staying with my parents before I go back to Stillwater into a new apartment for the next 3 years; so to make some extra cash I clean the house, and the 3 1/2 acres of land my parents have. Or I'm slacking off, obsessing over my two cages or my cricket cage. I like to play Frisbee a lot, and I'm a big advocate of the local heavy metal scene around my neck of the woods. Back before I was married, and when I was still in high school, I went to tons of local band shows just to have a good time. I haven't been able to make it near as much, what with needing money to go be able to move back to Stillwater.

That's me in a nutshell.

Well, the big ones: Metallica, Judas Priest; My favorite band is Volbeat, and I'm pretty into Thin Lizzy.

Ah right, never mind. Im into sort of new stuff, like Children Of Bodom, Trivium, Dimmu Borgir... etc.. haha

Hatebreeder by Children of Bodom, awesome. I've heard bits and pieces of Dimmu, they're pretty solid. I like All That Remains, got to see them live at Katt Fest here in Oklahoma.

Yup All that Remains are up their as one of my faves, though i must admit i've fallen behind and never really listened to their newest album.

Just an off hand comment, I never really actually saw my leo's using their calcium dish until last night. Nix came out and was licking at the grout and I thought "hmph. you might die if you do that", then remembered I forgot the calcium dish. She stood there and ate out of it for like 2 minutes. I was blown away xD.

I love old rock and metal music I like black sabbath, guns n roses, bon jovi, alice copper, hanoi rocks... and 80's music

I also love avenged sevenfold, nightwish, within temptation, all that remains, GREEN DAY <3 I will love forever, Rise Against, loads more... my list could go on forever.

I also love musicals I have many songs from musicals on my ipod little shop of horrors is one of my favourites, and cats im weird but oh well :P

Awesome, there's metal heads on the forum! Some bands I'm blasting now are Volumes, And Hell Followed With, Volbeat, Veil of Maya, just to name a very tiny few. One of my all time favs is 36 Crazyfists. Ive been going to shows since I was 13- 10 years ago. I go to a show just about every month since. Im constantly listening to music. I also paint and play video games. Im about to celebrate my 2 year anniversary with my wife! I have 2 young step children that are my world. I go to school full time (fire science) and now in school for EMT.

Metal is a brotherhood, no doubt! It's great to meet a fellow Volbeat fan. Where I'm from, there aren't too many. ;D
