What should I do?

Okay I'll be getting a 30 gallon tank either today or sometime this week, its L30" x W12' x H 13' .



My question for you all is, my older leos are in a tank of 23-24 long. Should I give them the 30 long and give the one their in to the younger leos?



I think that works better, but I think the younger ones might grow larger than the older leos I have now.



I cannot wait to get this bigger tank!

personally, I would give it to the older ones because they have lived in a smaller tank for larger and it would be a nice charge for them

Do you mean the younger ones?

nope the older ones.. you've had them for longer in the tank they are in now right? soo it would be a nice change for them to go into a different tank the younger ones can wait a little until they are bigger. just my opinion lol

Thats the plan, the younger leos get the one the older ones are in, both would have a nice change. =)

Thing is, you want to impose as little a change as possible. Changing the enclosure is stressful to them, and means a settling in period obviously.

if you give the new tank to the younger ones, then that is one set of gecko's changed and stressed.

If you give the smaller ones the current big one and then the big ones the new tank then thats 4 stressed gecko's.

2 stressed gecko's or 4?
