Re: took a couple pics today~pic heavy
i need to figure out how to get the settings right so i can show the true colors of these animals! cant capture the color for crap...maybe once they settle down a little but i will be able to get them to sit there long enough to play with the settings, i spent more time trying to keep them on the table than taking pics...didnt mess with any settings. next time!...yeah jordan, i figured out that i have to delete the upload link to get the browse button back up! lol

Re: took a couple pics today~pic heavy
dont worry about it bro! i have it figured out enough to use it now, lol. but thank you for all of your help! i must say, i honestly enjoy this forum more than any i have been a part of yet, infact i hardly ever use any of the others now....too many arguements and middle schood drama! lol. i dont mind a discussion, or even a debate, but too many people get way too serious about it! i personally use the forums to learn, teach, and enjoy all of the animals and friends....not fight and see "who is better and who knows the most!". i dont care if someone has nicer animals and knows more than me, i am happy for them, not bitter and rude for personal reasons, ya know. i like it when others succeed, but everyone is not like that i guess...alot of those people seem like they have to be "the best, or the smartest"...or what ever.

Re: took a couple pics today~pic heavy
Why thank you Rick. I am always striving to keep it great and make it even better. I will be making sure the opinions of my members get heard, for negative comments or positive, or suggestions. So hopefully this place will never change apart from getting more and more friendly people in
Re: took a couple pics today~pic heavy
thanks for all the comments! i will try to get the rest of my collection, and better pics that actually show the colors more accurate. they are all so much brighter in person, once i figure out my settings, the pics will get better. i also wanna get a more naturalistic background, i just tossed down a towell and put a lava rock on it...i like the more realistic lookin stuff, but i have been promising you guys some pics, so i took a few quick ones. i will try to get better ones next time, and the rest of the animals.

Re: took a couple pics today~pic heavy
thanks lisa! that is my red stripe enigma boy, he is my favorite also! that bright orange and red, with the white tail...wow, that color contrast is amazing. i still cant believe he is mine! i am also really in love with my white and yellow sunglow...and my red eyed enigma....heck, i love em all! i am happy and lucky to have them! i cant wait to breed them! i cant decide what i wanna put to my female bold stripe...its between the red stripe enigma or my w&y sunglow....the babies are gonna be nuts no matter what i breed her to...sooo confused!! she is still pretty small, so i have plenty of time to decide what i wanna do. i think the bold stripe and the red stripe will be a killer combo, but the white and yellow is pretty rare, and incomplete dominant...ugh! what to do first??? maybe i will rotate the males each clutch? but i am not really sure if leo females can retain sperm though?

Re: took a couple pics today~pic heavy
No idea where that is lol.
Not an ohio original.. moved here since its my bfs hometown.
I live in Harrison.. outskirts of cincinnati.
Do you do alot of breeding?
There is another gecko I really like.. don't think I've seen it on here yet.
Its dark brown in color with white stripe along its back.
I know I seen one when looking up leopard geckos colors and morphs but I can't for the life of me find the site that I saw it at!

Re: took a couple pics today~pic heavy
yup, that is a fat tail. some people call those stripes(myself included) and others say normal. i do breed. i used to breed alot of snakes, but only recently i have gotten into leopards. i should be putting the boys in with some girls pretty soon. some of my females are already ovulating, but i want to make sure they are big enough...so i am gonna get a scale soon so i know for sure. i live up closer to akron and cleveland. i almost got a group of caramel albino fat tails, but i got the leos instead. i will eventually get some fat tails, but it may be a few months as i still want some more leopards first.

Re: took a couple pics today~pic heavy
No worries, I'm not sure how soon before I'd be interested in getting another gecko. After losing my boy gecko, I am content with spoiling the girl I still have.
I just know that if/when I get another one it will definitely be from a breeder and it would be cool to pick out the color.
The two I got was a spur of the moment thing from the pet store. My sister was actually the gecko lover and she was getting one and convinced me to get one also... years later I ended up taking both of them because at the time they were in love. They started fighting tho and got separated.
Anyhow.. good to know there is a breeder nearby! =)

After doing some looking I was set on that brown fat tailed gecko if I ever got another one... but after seeing your orange and white one.. I know my mind can be changed for the right one
