Wine Crate?

So I found a wine crate in the bulky trash today. I was wondering if I could use it to make a terrarium? It's about the size of a ten gallon, though wider.

Honestly i wouldn't. I would not use anything found in the trash either.

Would it fit in the oven? I've heard of people using logs from outside and putting them at a low temperature so it won't catch fire but will sanitize it.

I personally, wouldn't use it if my leo couldn't see out of it. I imagine that it would be quite irritating not being able to see out.

Edit: Also I assume that this wine crate is wooden. If it's plastic then forget what I said.

It would help if you could post a picture of it hon. It can be sanatized one way or another, the only problem I'm seeing is how you could rig it up as a viv. Honestly finding something in the trash doesn't put me off... I don't see how it's any different than field collecting logs or stones as long as you properly sanatize it.
