Friend Request Notification

Hey Jordan,
Is there any way you can make a system that notifies people when someone sends them a friend request here on LGF? Kermit mentioned something about it the other day in conversation when i told her that i sent her a friend request and she didnt realize that she had one waiting for her

There is actually a system in place for that. You should see a little notification box in the top right for friend requests and new wall messages.
I'll have to double check if it is working then I guess.

EDIT: Just sent you a friend request to test. The notification will only appear on the homepage however. This is to prevent slowing down of pages, as its actually an AJAX system, meaning it requests another page from the server.

hey jordan im not seeing anything that says i have a friend request pending
i just actually looked in my friends list and not only is there the one from you testing it but i actually have another one waiting for me so i dont see anything anywhere outside of my control panel letting me know there are friend requests waiting

Hmm, I wonder when that stopped working. Thanks for letting me know, I'll sort it out soon and update in this thread.

ok no problem and ill keep an eye out for the fix and ill not accept your request for the time being so that when you do get around to fixing it up you can shot me the request then so i know what im looking for??
